The first tidying session of the year was completed on the 2nd March with tidying work carried out from Windmill Drive up to Green lane on both sides of the road. Winter debris and leaves were cleared from footpaths, the road; grass verge edges were tidied, as well as tidying the area in front of the bridge Inn. The team of 21 volunteers then moved to the Lord Combermere for Coffee provided by Allan and Jo. The team then tidied the pub car park before moving up to the main car park where similar work was carried out.

The final session before the summer break was very well attended by 18 volunteers on the 10th July who worked around the village tidying cheshire street (lots of hay on the road), weeds on the road by the Bridge Inn leading the Shroppie Fly pub, weeding the annexe beds and also weeding from Tollgate road to the Bridge.

If you would like to join any of the sessions please bring spade/shovel/hand tools, yard-brush and bags to put rubbish in. If you would also like to join our emailing list please send an email to the address listed below.

If you have identified other areas that need similar work e.g. cut back grass verges, please let us know by emailing us on adaascontact@gmail.com.
