In 2017, it was identified that we needed to install water butts in the village to help with watering of bedding plants in the tubs, troughs, flower beds and hanging baskets.
We installed 3 water butts in the village in 2018 with a capacity of 1400 litres.
We installed 2 water butts in 2019 at the Charity shop providing an additional 400 litres of capacity
We also purchased a small water bowser in 2018 with a watering wand that can be wheeled around the village to make watering of hanging baskets easier. Previously we have had to carry watering cans and step ladders around the village to enable us to reach the baskets.
